History

Our history

The culture of work in the Cocchioni family has always been shaped by ethics, rigor and love for work, passed down for three generations.

Early 1900s

The beginning

It all began with the grandfather, Pasquale Cocchioni, who tirelessly rode his bicycle through small villages and rural hamlets in the heart of Umbria, selling needles, pins and spools of thread. It was the early 1900s.

1950

New beginnings

The turning point came in 1950, with the opening of a grocery store by his son Nicola. Growing up in a family that devoted body and soul to the realization of a dream of emancipation and the development of its own business inevitably fostered the ambition to become successful entrepreneurs. With determination and intelligence, the brothers Pasquale and Paolo Cocchioni, from a young age, dedicated themselves to building their present and a future for the community they grew up in, which remains an essential part of their identity. Facing oneself, one’s aspirations, and pursuing dreams—even those that seemed unattainable—led the Cocchioni brothers to share the journey of Diva International: each contributing with their own personality, strength and commitment, making this journey unique and successful.

1980

Success

It was 1981 when an intuition forever marked the company’s path: the launch on the Italian market of single-use wet wipes for the food service sector. The economic crises faced over the past 40 years never discouraged the Cocchioni brothers; instead, they pushed them to invest even more in human resources and innovation, to broaden their horizons, explore new international markets, and open the company to universities, associations and research centers throughout Umbria and Italy. This is how Pasquale and Paolo Cocchioni have always faced crises and overcome the challenges of a global market: by taking responsibility firsthand and always looking to the future with confidence.

Today

The brand

Today, Diva boasts 35 production lines ranging from personal care and home care to personal wellbeing, including dedicated product lines for pets. Diva International is, in every respect, a Family Story. For this reason, the company is fully aware that consolidating success and maintaining a leading position in its reference market cannot be separated from the wellbeing of the people who are part of the “family” and work within the company. Contributing to the growth and development of the company, the local area and the country has always been the driving force behind the daily commitment of brothers Pasquale and Paolo Cocchioni, together with their love and passion for their work.
